John Jackson (Jack) MOORE

John "Jack" Moore buried in Moore Cemetery, Wright Co. Mo. he was suppossed to have been buried arcoss the river on his farm where he and his wife lived, but the river was up and they couldn't get acrossed. Jack was seeing Savannah Cordelia Gordan Lathrom while married to his wife. Jack and Savannah had 5 children together. Thought being they never married.
Jack served in the civil war as a confederate soldier.
Directions to Moore Cemetery: 3 1/2 miles northof Grove Springs, Mo. on 5 hwy, pass Mt Zion Church next road right on Orville Rd. Go to first fork in the road go right, go to next fork Persimmon and Griffin, go left, go to next fork in the road go left, then right at first drive through gate on the right. Go almost to trailor house turn right on gravel drive ,cemetery ahead.
