Abraham SEBRING

As Abraham Sebring, Sr., served in the Somerset County Militia.  It
appears from records, his rank was about Sergeant and above a Captain.
Probably served as an Ensign or Lieutenant.


Leffert SEBRING

Religion:  Leffert was received as a member of the North Branch Church in
1731.  He was deacon of the Raritan Reformed Church in 1768.  Four of his
children were babtized there, two eldest were no doubt babtized there,
too, but no records have been found.

Leffert owned land in both Somerset and Middlesex Counties, New Jersey.
His homestead plantation was in Middlesex County.

His will was dated 23 November 1777.

He was babtized as "Lefkers"

Fitie and Feytje were not mentioned in will; possibly died young.
