"Terry, I am a descendant of Isabella KERR who married ... John Galbraith
FALLS... In addition to the children you have listed for John KERR and Lucy
PICKENS, I believe there was also a son James. James KERR was an administrator
of the estate of Galbraith FALLS. James KERR, Sr. is buried in the Centre
Presbyterian Church Cemetery in southern Iredell County NC near Galbreath and
Isabella FALLS. His inscription states he died 16 Jan 1816, aged 78 years. His
wife, Jane K. KERR, died 16 Sept 1831, aged 77 years....

 Dear Terry... is there a birth/baptism recorded for James KERR, presumed
brother of Isabella in about 1743 [in the Tinkling Spring record]? One
transcription of Centre Presbyterian burials in Iredell County, NC gives his
death date as 1816, aged 78. However, another transcription gives his age at
death as 73. This latter seems more likely if he is indeed the son of John and
Lucy PICKENS KERR. If the earlier date is correct, he should have been included
on the list of persons imported in 1740...   Thanks, Ray"

 "Upon examining Chalkey's Annals of Augusta Co.[VA] more closely, I have found
a son James listed for John KERR and Lucy PICKENS. (A James KERR was an
administrator of the estate of Gilbreath FALLS, and is buried near him and
William GILLESPIE, the second husband of Ann FALLS). This, along with the fact
that the inferred birth date of 1740 from her tombstone inscription closely
matches the Tinkling Spring baptism date, increases my confidence that Isabella
KERR, the wife of Gilbreath FALLS, was the daughther of John and Lucy PICKENS
KERR..."
