Following taken from newspaper clipping in Pasadena area: "Mrs Jennie
(Matilda Jane) Sawyer Bradfield died January 2, 1933, at her home, 1016
North El Molino Avenue. Surviving her are one son, Claton C Bradfield, of
Pasadena; three brothers and three sisters; Harve and Walter Sawyer of
Alpaugh, Ca, and William Sawyer of La Porte City IA; Mrs L B Clark (nee
Sedalia Lillian Sawyer), Mrs Kathryn (Sawyer) Mornin and Mrs S J Snyder
(nee Cora Sawyer) of Pasadena. Funeral services at 3:30 pm Wednesday, at
the chapel of Turner & Stevens Company, Marengo avenue at Holly street."
Other information from La Porte City local paper: "Mrs Bradfield was a
native of Spring Creek township, Black Hawk Co and was about 70 years of
age when she passed away. She will be remembered by the older citizens of
this locality. She left here over forty years ago and for a time with her
husband resided in South Dakota. Mr Bradfield died 27 years ago and since
that time Mrs Bradfield had resided in Pasadena." Information in () added
