Sillery June 29, 1666 daughter of PIERRE MARTIN and JOACHINE LA FLEUR."

the Rodrigue family in America. He was born in Canada on 1 Sept. 1736.
Evidently he came from Canada to St. John the Baptist Parish in Edgard, La. and
married there. Although the date of his marriage is unknown, he is shown by
Conrad in the St. John Baptist Parish Civil Records, page 363, as being the
husband of Marie Josepha Dervain, daughter of Rene Dervain and Anne Marie
Conrad Frederick, and the two are shown as the parents of the many children
they had. Marie Josepha Dervain must have died before 7 Aapril 1785 because
Jean Baptiste married again on 7 April 1785 to
Marguerite Delatte. (St John Bapt. Church Records, Bk. 1, p. 23 a and 23 b.)
She was the daughter of Antoine Louis Delatte and Catherine Clero."

Beauport, Can. (Tanguay, Vol. 7, p. 25) He married on 7 May 1731 in Baeuport,
Can. first to Dorothee Fougere, daughter of Pierre Fougere and Madelaine
Verieul. Dorothee Fougere was born on 1 Feb 1707 is Ste. Famille, Ile
d'Orleans, Can. (Tanguay, Vol 4, p. 80) She died on 23 Nov. 1758, St. Joseph,
Beauce, Can. (Tanguay, Vol. 7, p. 25). She was the widow of Francois Vachon.
(Tanquay, Vol. 4, p. 80). After Dorothee Fougere's death, Jean Rodrigue
married a second time on 12 Nov 1759 at St. Joseph, Beauce to Marie Boulet,
daughter of Pierre Boulet."

Beauport, Canada. He married on the 22 Nov. 1703 in Beauport, Can. to Elizabeth
Dauphin who was born on the 19 Jan. 1687 in Beauport, Can. (Tanquay V. 1, P.
159) Elizabeth was the daughter of Rene Dauphin and Suzanne Gignard. Rene
Rodrigue died on 23 March 1715 in Beauport, Can. (Tanquay V. 1, p. 525 and V.
7, p. 25) After Rene Rodrigue died, Elizabeth Dauphin married on the 11 Nov
1715 to Ignace de L'Epiny. (Tanquay V. 1, P. 159) Rene Rodrigue and Elizabeth
Dauphin had 6 known children; (Their children are listed as the next 6 capitol
letters.)"

Vol. 1 p. 525), daughter of Francois Le Roy and Anne Bourdois or Bourdain. Her
parents were from St. Germain, Paris, France. Jean Rodrigue II died on 15 Nov.
1720, and was buried in Beauport, Can. (Tanquay, Vol. 7 P.25)"
