This line had thought to be a line of John Hiatt and Mary Smith, Quaker immigrants but later research has proven this is not a correct lineage. The line of John Hiatt who married Mary Smith, Quaker immigrants to the colonies in 1699 was Richard wife Alice. Richard was the son of John of all of Butleigh, Somerset, England. John was the son of Thomas who was the son of John who was the son of Robert Hiatt of Butleigh, Somerset England dating to approximately 1520. Larry Anderson, LarryAndy@aol.com 10 Jun 2013.
