(1) Ashley McKinney was one of the participants in the Texas Revolution against
Mexico.

James MCKINNEY

(1) James McKinney joined the Army in May 1836.  He died enroute home from the
service, and was brought home in a wagon.

Daniel YOUNGER MCKINNEY

 There seems to be a mix up on this person, same name and dates, but different parents.
