William Hopkins CATLIN

Was in Civil War.  After war, went West.  Returned in 1873 to work as a bank clerk.  Sources says he was ?foremost in financial and religious circles.

Samuel HINE

In Revolutionary War.

Lyman Sheldon CATLIN

Served in Civil War.  Was a POW.

After the war, he was sent to AR as an agent of the Chicago Insurance Co., but was driven out by the Ku Klux Klan.  The company moved him to KS, where he stayed until 1875.

Then he returned to CT and organized the Merchant & Farmers Savings Bank.

In 1888, he was elected Senator (of CT, not US, I assume).

Yale grad in 1894.

Yale grad.

Served 2 years in WW1.

Served 5 years in WW2.
