Of course you do not know these folks but I had this up to tell a lot of my line of kin that Bill West age 80 died in his sleep at a care center where he had been for a few months. His wife, Doris is the grand daughter of Loretta Hyatt Shipman who was the oldest child of Jesse and Ella Hyatt. Jesse, my grandfather was the son of Stephen S. Hyatt and was born in Denton in 1859. In case you are interested you can find Bill's obit in the Lubbock Avalanche Journal on line today.
Doris father William Shipman was the first grandchild of Jess and Ella which made him my first cousin, but he was so much older than most of us that he seemed more like an uncle and Doris and her siblings more like first cousins when we were growing up. Loretta married Edgar Shipman at a young age and Boon, my dad the second born of Jess and Ella didn't marry until he was twenty eight so we were more the age of Bill and Winnie Shipman's children than of our first cousins.
One of Bill and Doris West daughters lives in Idaho. Doris told me her daughter lived in Boise, but the obit says Caldwell so I guess it is a subburb of Boise.
Your cousin,
B A Hyatt
