Elva Luane Sorenson, 61, died March 26, 2003. She was born November 9, 1941 in American Fork to Duane Mark and Elva Hansen Sorenson. She worked as a lab aide at Cottonwood Hospital for many years, and was a member of the LDS Church. She is survived by one brother, Mark Duane (Luann) Sorenson; one sister, Shirley Sorenson; and was loved by many nieces and nephews. Viewing will be Sat., March 29 at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State St, Murray from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 noon, with graveside services to follow at 1:00 p.m. in Murray City Cemetery, under the direction of Holladay Hills Funeral Home, Santaquin. AMERICAN FORK-Edna Louise Willden Hansen, age 78, of American Fork, Utah, passed away December 25, 2000, in the American Fork Hospital.
She was born July 14, 1922, in Monticello, Utah, daughter of Rulon and Annina Bankhead Willden. She married Reuben Wilford Hansen on August 28, 1942, in Evanston, Wyo. The marriage was later solemnized in the Provo Temple. She loved camping, gardening, was an excellent cook, and was a devoted wife and mother.
Survived by her husband of American Fork; sons, Richard (Carol Ann) Hansen, Pleasant Grove; Harold Hansen, Fillmore; Bruce (Chelyn) Hansen, Sunset, Utah; Mrs. Brent (Carol) Billings, American Fork; 23 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; two brothers and one sister, Mark Willden, Washington; Leland Kay Willden, Springville; Mrs. Robert (Christina) Larsen; Eagle Mountain. Preceded in death by one son and four brothers.
Graveside services will be Friday, December 29, 2000, at 3 p.m. in the American Fork City Cemetery. Friends may call at the American Fork Pacific Drive 1st Ward LDS Chapel, 700 W. 500 N. one hour prior to services. Services under the direction of Wing Mortuary, Lehi.
