Clarice Newman Smith West
  Clarice Newman Smith West, 79, of Pleasant Grove, died January 6, 1992, at the American Fork Hospital.

  Born May 31, 1912, in Pleasant Grove to Claude Bird and Ivy Radmall Newman. She married William Roy Smith; he preceded her in death. She married Sherwood W. West December 11, 1950, in Salt Lake. She was a member of the LDS Church, living in the Pleasant Grove 6th Ward.

  Survived by husband, Pleasant Grove; two sons, Gary D. Smith, Salt Lake City; Glenn L. Smith, American Fork; 26 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Glenn D. Newman, Pleasant Grove; stepdaughter, three stepsons, Mrs. Aldo (Valerie) Bussio, Provo Canyon; Jack West, Pleasant Grove; Leonard West, Salt Lake City; Farrin West, Provo. Preceded in death by a brother, Clyde R. Newman.

  Services will be held Thursday, 2 p.m., Pleasant Grove 6th Ward, 700 East 500 North. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 500 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove or Thursday at the church one hour prior to services. Burial: Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
