Lavee Lux Gurney
The Daily Herald on Saturday, March 15Lavee Lux Gurney, 62, of Orem, passed away on March 11, 2003 after a long battle with bone cancer. She was born August 28, 1941 in Vernal, Utah to Thomas and Ida Lux.
She graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in nursing, taught Sunday School, helped 4 boys serve LDS missions and was the life of the neighborhood. She will be missed.
She is survived by her son Kevin, two other boys, Casey and Tony, and a daughter Kellie. Also by 3 brothers, 9 sisters, 9 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father and one brother George.
A memorial service will be held March 18, 2003 at 11 a.m. in the Park 4th Ward.
