KINGSPORT - Amy Lyn Jennings, 28, of 601 Peach Orchard Drive, found a place of rest and peace with the Lord on Friday (June 30, 2000). A native and lifelong resident of Kingsport, she is the beloved daughter of Gregory Boyd Jennings of Kingsport and Cathy McCurry Jennings of Greeneville. Ms. Jennings was a graduate of Sullivan North High School.She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, J.C. and Georgia Mae Tipton Jennings. Surviving are one son, Joseph Brett Hall, Mount Carmel; one brother and sister-in-law, Alan Shane and Rebecca Jennings, Knoxville; her maternal grandparents, Lynn and Dorothy McCurry, Greeneville; one niece, Julia Jennings; and one nephew, Jacob Jennings; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Calling hours are from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown. A memorial service will be conducted at 6 p.m. today (7/4/2000) in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Donnie Derrick officiating.
