    Jeptha Tipton Sr., 87, died at his home at Flchburg, Estill County, on Sept 21 from pheumonia. He had spent practically all his life in Estill County as a farmer. He is Survived by his widow, Mrs. Miranda Tipton; eight sons, Ison, John, Jeptha Jr., and Chris., all of Estill County; Pleas., of Powell County; Chaelie of Lee County; Clayborn of Spencer County, and Isaac, of Ohio, two daughters, Mrs. Cashius Tipton, of Pitts, and Mrs. Vernon Chatman, of Spencer County.
