John Franklin TIPTON

Isacca, "Ike" Tipton had a brother by the name of John Franklin "Chicken Eater" Tipton who married Harriet L. Burchfiled a daughter of Robert and Amanda Burchfiled. Robert Burchfild was a brother to Smoke Burchfield father of "Kans" Burchfield. So Smoke Burchfield was the Uncle of '"Chicken Eater" Tipton's wife Harriet.

   In August of 1902 "Smoke" Sam Burchfield shot and killed John Franklin Tipton, Alcohol and Politics seemed to have been contributing factors.
